Kody Sell

Co-Owner

Tax Professional

Kody is an Enrolled Agent (EA), a federally licensed tax expert recognized by the IRS. He also holds his SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses, is a QuickBooks Certified Advanced ProAdvisor, and has worked for firms like Charles Schwab and Intuit.

After earning his associate’s degree while still in high school through the Richland Collegiate program, he graduated top of his class from the University of Texas at Dallas. Kody has extensive entrepreneurship experience having built and led both local service businesses and a large international trading education firm. He’s well-versed in advanced tax strategy and once temporarily relocated to Puerto Rico for tax optimization.

Outside the office, Kody enjoys golf, travel, virtual reality, and spending time with his wife and two sons. He also co-exists peacefully with two cats ... proof that compromise is possible.

Chandler Sell

Co-Owner

Bookkeeping Professional

Chandler is the administrative powerhouse for Kaspera carrying multiple bookkeeping certifications including Certified QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor and QuickBooks Payroll Certified ProAdvisor, and is a Certified Intuit Bookkeeping Professional.

She currently works as a full charge bookkeeper for a large marketing firm and previously ran a successful online boutique with her family. Her expertise covers everything from day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll to managing accounts receivable and payable.

When she’s not balancing books, she’s reading books, watching highly questionable reality shows, or keeping Amazon’s delivery team employed full-time.

Our Name

The name Kaspera is derived from the root word “Kasper,” which means Treasure Bringer, a fitting symbol for a firm whose mission is to help clients unlock value, protect what matters, and build lasting financial security.

But to us, it’s more than that. The name also represents the idea of a trusted guardian, someone who protects, unlocks, and guides. It draws on themes of wisdom, resilience, and stewardship which are all qualities we strive to embody in every client relationship.

Whether it’s uncovering hidden tax opportunities or helping clients feel more confident and prepared, Kaspera is about showing up with clarity, strength, and purpose.

Our Logo

The Kaspera logo features two K’s facing one another, forming the shape of a treasure chest. In the center sits a keyhole, a symbol of opportunity and insight. Together, the elements represent not just protection, but the ability to unlock something valuable with the right approach.

The mirrored K’s speak to trust, partnership, and balance. The treasure chest ties directly into the meaning behind the name Kaspera, which comes from the word for “Treasure Bringer.” This visual is a reminder of our role in helping clients uncover the opportunities that are already within reach but often hidden or locked away. The keyhole reinforces that success isn’t just about protection. It’s also about knowing how to access what matters most.
